D&AD NEW BLOOD : Design Brief 2022

 Typography has the power to make words matter, and to make words more relevant.

Create a typographically-led campaign based upon or expanding the Articles of the UDHR as a call to action or awareness. Choose an issue that compels you, and makes you care deeply. No matter our origins or where we live now, we should all have access and rights to: education, right to choose, breathe clean air, freedom, justice, etc. Bring these issues to life in a way that is engaging for your audience.

Who are we talking to? Universal means everyone. You can address an issue that is of global concern, or a local issue important to your immediate community.

Client Work - Brand Identity:Totle (Kidswear)

The aboard company is a fashion label that specialises in children's apparel. They are a company aiming to break into the fashion sector with their strong branding, which is where we come in. They want their branding to thrill youngsters and to convey children's enthusiasm and energy in their visual language. Totle is the name we came up with, and the branding can have an option to include a mascot if required.

Titan : D&I campaign

Brief from the agency

Titan coming from the TATA group is a well-established company and we all know that. Speaking of the culture, they already have a D&I culture but they want the team to be more aware of it.

What they want us to do? 

They want us to work on 12 emailers and reflect on the behaviours of the employees

post the pitch.  Marketing Objective is to promote Diversity and Inclusion amongst their employees.

(Internal Communication)

 

Communication Objective: To communicate the attributes of the company from the approved approach. To encourage people to follow these attributes.

 

Target Audience: The audience is diverse with age groups from an average of 22 years to 45 years which includes all genders. Titan Co. Employees.

Surrey Hills Coffee Co.

Brief from the agency

We have been approached by a theoretical client who have asked us to create their brand identity and require a logo and associated assets from our agency. The fictional company is called ‘Surrey Hills Coffee Co’ and they operate a small trendy van and visit popular walking spots in the Surrey Hills area. They source sustainable ethical coffee from around the world and sell expensive artisan coffee. - We require three logo concepts in colour from yourself showing your thought process
